Cendol is the quintessential Malaysian dessert but it also a traditional dessert popular in Southeast Asia such as Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei. It is made with shaved ice, coconut milk, pandan-flavoured starch jelly and heavily drizzled with palm sugar. Priced at RM3 onwards, it has a fragrant and creamy aftertaste thanks to the perfect balance of the palm sugar and fresh coconut milk. You can also opt for extra toppings such as red beans, peanuts, grass jelly, and durian (if you are feeling rather adventurous but actually it is normal for nowadays). While there are plenty of dessert stalls and cafes that offer cendol, we highly recommend you guys to come here. Because it is quite different when you can enjoy the view of ‘Sungai Melaka’ while enjoying the cendol. Sometimes you can see the river cruise boat through the river. It is really fun! The price is based on the cendol that you choose.
